Όλα για το Metaverse 

 

 

Today’s technology evolves at a breakneck speed, allowing for more rapid development and advancement and speeding up the rate of change. However, technological trends and developing technologies are not the only things that are changing. People are also changing their perspectives on what to expect from technologies. Ακούγοντας τη λέξη τεχνολογία, τον όρο Metaverse comes to one’s mind. 

 Επιτρέψτε μου να σας παρουσιάσω το Metaverse:

Ο όρος "μεταστρεφές" χρησιμοποιήθηκε για πρώτη φορά σε Neil Stevenson’s 1982 novel, Snow Crash. Stevenson’s metaverse was a virtual place where characters could go to escape a dreary totalitarian reality. 

Meta σημαίνει Πέρα και ο στίχος λέει το σύμπαν. 

You’ve undoubtedly heard the rumours that the metaverse is about to alter your life. The metaverse, however, is a simple idea. It’s generally defined as online environments where individuals may interact, work, and play as avatars, and it’s a progression of the internet. Those places are shared and constantly accessible, unlike a Zoom call, they don’t vanish after you’ve done using them. 

ο μετασύνδεση refers to a digital world where people will meet to work, play, and hang out. It is a concept for the next phase in the internet’s growth story. Some of those online places will be immersive 3D experiences that will need the use of special eyewear. Others will take place on a computer monitor.  

Θα υπάρχουν πολλά θέματα για αναπαραγωγή, αλλά σύμφωνα με τις πηγές, ένα κοινό θέμα θα είναι ότι το μετασύμπαν θα είναι ένα εικονικό βασίλειο που αντικατοπτρίζει την πραγματική μας ύπαρξη. Ψηφιακές κοινότητες, πάρκα και κλαμπ θα αναδυθούν σε έναν ενιαίο εικονικό κόσμο ή σε πολλούς. Μερικά άτομα πιστεύουν ότι υπάρχει ένα μετασύμπαν που υπάρχει παράλληλα με τον πραγματικό κόσμο και περιέχει επικαλύψεις επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας. Επενδυτές όπως Animoca Brands και άλλοι έχουν ήδη επενδύσει εκατομμύρια χρήματα σε Metaverses όπως Υψίπεδο, Sandbox, Decentraland, Gala, Axie και Infinity.

Τα Μπαρμπάντος έχουν δείξει ενδιαφέρον για την ίδρυση μιας πρεσβείας στο μεταβέρειο, αποδεικνύοντας τη δημοτικότητα της έννοιας. 

Το Metaverse Land στο Web 3.0 είναι ισοδύναμο με τις διευθύνσεις URL ονομάτων τομέα στο Web 2.0 και το Web 1.0. Μπορείτε να δημιουργήσετε σε αυτό το έδαφος το ίδιο όπως φτιάχνετε έναν ιστότοπο σήμερα και για να το κάνετε αυτό χρειάζεστε πρώτα τη διεύθυνση URL του ονόματος τομέα (metaverse land στο μέλλον).  

Web 1.0 ήταν όταν οι ιστότοποι είχαν μόνο κείμενο (το καλύτερο παράδειγμα προς το παρόν είναι ο ιστότοπος Berkshire Hathaway).  

Web 2.0 was when we got photos and videos – For example, Websites like Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, Vimeo, Pinterest, etc.  

Web 3.0 είναι όταν οι ιστότοποι θα είναι τρισδιάστατοι και ορισμένοι ακόμη και καθηλωτικοί 3D. Η περίπτωση χρήσης ενός Metaverse Land είναι μια χρησιμότητα ή οποιαδήποτε άλλη περίπτωση εμπορικής χρήσης που θα είναι εμφανής όταν συμβεί αυτό. 

It’s become a catchphrase in gaming, Fashion, Media, non-fiction books,  retail and almost every industry and will continue to do so in the future. 
Το σίγουρο είναι ότι αν υπάρχουν χρήματα να βγουν, οι τεράστιες εταιρείες αρέσουν Microsoft, Apple, Qualcomm, Nvidia, Valve, Epic, HTC και Apple, θα πρέπει τελικά να μπει στο μετασύμπαντο. Microsoft, Meta, and other FAANG companies are all working on new methods to interact online. In the next years, you’ll hear a lot more about the metaverse.
